The award was presented at the annual festival and prize-giving ceremony organised by Gollachhut Foundation, a children's cultural organisation, held recently at the auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum in Dhaka. Popular actress Farzana Chhobi handed over the prestigious award to Tahsin Khan.
The event also recognised several distinguished personalities for their contributions to arts and culture, including legendary actress Dilara Zaman, actress Farzana Chhobi, and renowned sitarist and academic Professor Rinat Fowzia.
In addition to receiving the honour, Tahsin Khan performed two solo songs during the programme. Both songs were written and composed by his mother, Professor Rinat Fowzia, an acclaimed sitarist and educator. Their artistic collaboration added an emotional and distinctive touch to the event, highlighting the unique bond between mother and son.
Expressing his gratitude after receiving the award, Tahsin Khan said, "Balancing my career as a lawyer and educator with my passion for music is quite challenging. This recognition from the Gollachhut Foundation will inspire me to continue my journey with even greater dedication."

The programme concluded with the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the Gollachhut Superstar competition, where Tahsin Khan joined other distinguished guests in presenting awards to talented young participants.
