Harmful Microplastics Found in 76.5% of Toothpastes in Bangladesh, ESDO Study Reveals

More than three out of every four toothpastes available in the Bangladeshi market contain harmful microplastics, according to a year-long study by the Environment and Social Development Organization (ESDO). Out of 34 samples tested across 19 local and imported brands, microplastics were detected in 26 samples—accounting for 76.5 percent of the total tested.
